Re: Happy to be here

Hello and welcome!! I started with a 5 gal Vevor. Make sure you get rid of all the silicone if you haven't yet. There are a few good thread on here for improving that still. I found my condenser to be waaaaay to small. There is a ton of good info here. Enjoy the ride! Just curious...Why get rid of ...

Re: Simple Beer Keg Pot Still?

Cool . Think of your still head like a cast iron pan . Once you have “seasoned” it , (IE done an alcohol run through it ) , just a quick rinse is all it needs . Don’t scrub it back to bare metal after every use . In a similar way that the seasoning of a cast iron pan protects it from rusting , the p...

Lights will pulse on & off with the power setting you choose. It will flash slow at low power and will stay on at 100% power. Not correct. Depends if it is in Time proportional or Burstfire mode . Time proportional mode uses Mark/space and has a period of about 1second ( If I can remember when ...

I don’t do Imperial well but 5 US gal = 18.92 litres . A standard drink is 30ml @40% abv I was wondering were they might have got the 5gal limit from . My Gastro Surgeon recently told me that they have dropped the considered safe amount to drink to 2 standard drinks for 4 nights a week with three da...

Re: West Virginia makes it legal?

Is this legit? Maybe. Sometimes libertarian things happen by accident. A long while back, making wine and beer became legal at the federal level. Next step is for Homedistillers to be able to distill the beer and wine we can legally make. And that there is the whole joke of the matter . I prefer to...

During testing we cycled the relays 5 times per second (25times faster than what you can set in the settings of the device). We then overloaded the relays with 30amps (substantially more than what they are used.) We then cycled them on and off for months at this highly accelerated testing and confi...

So looking back at the wiring diagram I put on the other topic , it would be a piece of cake . Simply insert an SSVR in the Common Neutral wire to the elements . That means you can then use any combination of elements via the Brewzilla control panel and an have power adjustment . Obviously you set B...

Getting there Bolverk . Hey I wonder if all that water is just the steam condensing in the piping ? Maybe if you wait until the Pipes get up to temp , the water issue might stop or slow .
Do you reckon lagging it would help ?
