Re: Concentric Pot/Reflux Still

Re: What to do With a Stalled Wine Fermentation...

sorry yes you are right

I just assumed that the temps were correct ect ect

there are indeed many factors to take into consideration before adding nutrients

and taking SG readings over a few days to confirm it is stuck is the first thing to do :-)

Re: What to do With a Stalled Wine Fermentation...

first thing to do with a stuck wine fermentation is add nutrients but use a complete nutrient feed like fermax or tronozymol not a pure DAP nutrient the complete nutrient feeds have other ingredients that the yeast need later in fermentation DAP is most beneficial at the start of frrmentation and wi...

I have been using google for years to search sites by using the "site:<site domain name>" right on the google page

I also use it to find things from different countries
say I look for something from Poland I would use "site:pl"

Re: Stop cutting for heads while distilling!

is that why I don't get a hangover from my wine ? I thought all home brew was hangover free as you don't use chemicals in production many of my wines are from spontaneous fermentation, but I suspect SN9 is the yeast strain that is dominant in these cases... I don't pitch yeast unless I want a certai...

I have a quite a few glass shot glasses but not enough to do cuts

378ml at 100% but I doubt the air still can achieve anywhere near that

let's say I get around 40% about 800ml

25ml cuts will require over 30 containers

the plastic is to hold the cuts not for drinking

or will storing and airing them in plastic for 24 hours change the liquor in some undesirable way ?

I can use the plastic cups in work for holding screws if that is the case.
