Re: Uncle Remus Rice Vodka
I wonder how it would work with wild rice , there is a large shallow "flat" pond about a mile from me that is thick with wild rice . Uncle Tommy used to gather some of it a couple of times a year wonder what he used it for ?

Re: Moonshiners Recipies
I've always sat in wonder when Jim Tom was able to pull 6 gallons out of an 18 gal still with 1 run ,,, I thought there may be something I could learn from the show till then . also I know a couple of folks around here that have been making 100/200 gal a month and selling it ( true moonshiners) and ...

Re: Meat Grinder
I got mine from Home depot ,,, about $28 ,, no shipping charges , it has a handle and grinds dry corn pretty good , but you will have to build a hood over the burr plates because it will fly everywhere ,,, and you can only get a 2" deep pan under the burr . but I can grind 15 pounds in 15 min .

Re: Still building Material hunt
If you read enough here, you'll see some of these guys pounding copper to make their own fittings. A piece of that pipe cut and flattened to make the plates...and a piece of heavy wire flattened and soldered to the outside for a flange. Ingenuity will triumph... just built my first easy flange last...

Re: Whole dry corn kernels
