thanks guys i will take all advice given

any one out there worried about being busted ? where do you do you distilation in yur basement or garage in town i figure if your not selling and not telling anyone what your up to why woiuld the law ever catch on?

thanks for the info if i dont raise the temps will it still work just take longer or is it a must to have around 80?

i am in the process of building one my self i am using one inch over half from the coments you got it is prob overkill oh well im not too worried as long as it does the job iwas just thinking i wouildnt have to run the water as fast this waythe big thing imo would be to use type m copper to disipate...

it is around 68 degrees and i just used one of those little packs that do one serving

i have a ss keg pot still in the making with a4 foot 2inch copper of the top 3/4 inch sopper and a thermometer of the top used 5 gallon of water and 4 kg of sugar and two tbls of baker yeast still waiting to run it been reading on here sounds like a lot to know to do a good job what would you recome...

how important is it to get chlorine out of water before using ? i didnt used hot water to disolve sugar added oatmeal small amount and yeast it bubbled good for a day then quit or went extreamly slow nopt sure if i was expecting it to bubblle for a few days before slowing or stopping was wrong or if...
