I've been using this recipe for a good while now, but only yielding 3 solid qts off a five gallon bucket. Should I after a day stir my mash and do so daily? thats what I've been getting as well. Yeah it's flower I used a little too much. And sounds good il just throw it out. The first run should be all I throw out right? Is it normal I had a steady flow of heads after about 25-30 mins? How many times can you run on a propane tank?

About to run my first ever wash did this sweetfeed whiskey mash. Got my mash made let it ferment and now straining it but I only have about 3-4 gallons of wash. Should I add another gallon to the mash and strain that to get the five gallons of wash or just run it with 3-4 gallons of wash as is? Than...

Thought I'd introduce myself. Just got in the whole distillery world. Been researching for almost three years now and finally pulled the trigger on a stock pot home still. 30 qt ss pot with a old spiral worm style condenser. Interested to learn different recipes and what and what not to do.
