How long will mash last?
I have 2 6.5 gallon buckets full of sugar/water/turbo yeast that have been sitting for close to 6 months. I actually forgot about them while making sweet feed and corn mashes. Do you think it is still good or should I throw it away? I haven't opened the lids yet. They have been air tight with airloc...

Just finished my second run of Ujssm. Took all collection on first run and used it for the feints for second run. I'm using a 30" tall pot tower with some copper packing. I collected 6+ quarts today on second run. Straight off the still this stuff tastes awesome and smells great. started coming...

No cuts = bad likker.....I understand that. It wasn't about making cuts. The entire collection had a sweet funky smell to it. I don't believe it was the tailes, I didn't collect that much likker. I had to much heat to fast and foamed up. Just curious if that made the run smell funky or something els...

I just ran my first batch of sweet feed last week. I had a 5 gallon wash into a pot still tower on my keg. I threw out te first 250ml, then collected 2 750ml after.
