Not sure if this is the right place to ask but should my distillate be comming out ice cold? I thought I read it should be warm?

Hey guys and gals I just want to introduce myself to the site and say how good it is that there is aforum dedicated to an age old tradition..

No I didn't run it until it was dry . I thought that probably and correct me if I'm wrong that if alcohol boils at a lower temp than water that the alcohol is depleted way before the end of other mash in your still.I think the problem that I may be having is the lack of alcohol in the mash in the fi...

Hey so I am brand new to brewing and decided to start with ujsm. Just ran my first distillation and need help! Firslty questions, can I add left over wash (the 5 gallon mash was bigger than my still) to my second fermentation? or do I only add that which i distilled? Also my distilled abv was only 2...
