I made this one with lantern glasses. Its borosilicate glass so heat resistant.it is 4 inches in diameter. And I love it. The plates and caps are copper and all held together with external thread bar.

You should still be getting good flavours even at the 90% start. Are you ageing on oak? Your reflux condenser looks big so you will probably have to have a really slow coolant flow to it.

I defer to Bear River on Bleach and Stainless... I am not sure what I am going to do when I finish studying on my new still build.. I want to put copper around the vapor but Stainless in the condensor but the pool works so well for cooling that I am in a conundrum.... Can I cool a stainless condens...

Thanks guys for your comments. The bubbler runs good too, I love to watch the plates load up at the beginning. The T500 has passed on now, it was taking valuable space up so had to go. I'll be building a packed section to go above the plates soon for the neutral runs, but I don't think I'll do that ...
