Re: Kegs, gotta love em
Not sure if they run worth a lick, but they sure are fun to build. Easier and quicker than a plated tree coulum and condensers for the still head.... I have always been amazed by the creativity of the community mebersrs here. I just would like to say thank you for those of you who are so willing to ...

Re: COPPER, BRASS AND STAINLESS!
Nice job PFShine! At least your diy part saved you a bundle of $. Pretty clever! That's a real nice looking ez-flange you have fabricated as well.

0313161524_crop_903x468-320x166.jpg Here is the sight glass manifold in progress. Don't give me to much credit on that one fellas. Its not like I had any idea what I was going to do with it at this point. My wife actually made the suggestion to use it for a fluid level indecator... I was just playi...

Re: COPPER, BRASS AND STAINLESS!
Thanks MichiganCornhusker, I appreciate the link! I apologize if my forum topic is redundant fellas. Lately, I have been trying to get away from using any type of manufactured parts and/or pluming fittings in my "projects". The flanges I posted are still a work in progress. Rather than sho...

Re: COPPER, BRASS AND STAINLESS!
I found these 4" angle grinder polishing disks from a local hardware shop here in Missouri, that make it a breeze to shine anything. I will post a pic of them tommorow. It's is more of a pain to cut the rim off them to be honest. And,,,,, I'm very excited to see what everyone's been posting and...

Re: COPPER, BRASS AND STAINLESS!
There is just something about it that draws me in. From the time I soldered my first joint 5 years ago, I was hooked. I have learned to never throw away a single scrap, chunk, piece or shaving of these precious alloys. I would love it if you all would post any random pic of your metal creations here...

Re: Proper introduction.
Thanks for the posts men. As with all of my hobbys, I take it to the extreme and spend way to much $$ according to my loved ones. And it may be true I tend to get side tracked every once in a while
when I'm in my one car garge here in middle American Missouri.

Proper introduction.
Hey everyone I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Clayton. Some of you may know me from other sights as CactiClayton. I hope nobody cares that I've changed my name. I look forward to seeing what everybody has been up to. Personally my passion is focused more on the building side of distilli...
