Re: All Bran Recipe

My most recent outcome is strange. For Bert13, if you think your stuff is good, don't try to make it any better. You achieve 99% efficiency by your way and gain extra .5% by doing several hours of work and investing up to a hundred extra bucks. Hi ST and thank you for your kind advice. I know what ...

Re: All Bran Recipe

It's fancy how carbon filter works. At the top the strippings have quite strong smell that originates from the all bran probably, not excactly bad to say, but at the bottom it has very clean and straight smell. I have feeling this one is gonna be super neutral, my best batch this far. I think this ...

Re: All Bran Recipe

Mine wasn't that clear when I ran it and I had no issues with foaming. It's basically a sugar wash and they don't foam all that much. Hi Mikey, could you please say if you ran it in a pot still or a reflux? Also, if you know, are pot stills or reflux stills more prone to or can they be damaged by t...

Re: All Bran Recipe

Hi folks, it's that novice Bert13 here again and I apologise for not following up on my post [of Mon Jun 20, 2016 2:12 am] a little sooner. My wife was taken into hospital with a broken arm and broken pelvis and I've mostly been in there by her bed for the last fortnight. This means that the bran wa...

Hi folks, I'm Bert13 and I apologise to you because I failed to read the rules and this post is actually my second post - I posted first in ignorance (my forte) in the tried and tested forum on the topic of bran flake washes because I'd just put one on and I was enthusiastic to share my practical le...

Re: All Bran Recipe

Hi Mikey-Moo and thanks for your kind comments. I kinda guessed I was likely to be going about the intro's in a clumsy fashion and I'll gladly take your advice to start again via the welcome centre.

Re: All Bran Recipe

Hi there, Bert13 here and very pleased to meet y'all. This is my first post so please forgive me if I'm not following established protocols. I put on a wash using locally obtained 'All Bran Recipe' ingredients last night and, as the All Bran recipe looks to be one that is embraced by recent starters...
