Re: SPP packing weight... possible problem
well aparently I just wasted $300 in wire for an equation rooted for a 2" column lovely. not. the 1/10h of column dia. size spp rule of thumb only works math wise for 1.5 to 2" column. I saw this mentioned ,several times, so its what I went with. F*#% I let the f--ing metric system and my ...

SPP packing weight... possible problem
Okay! :econfused: I can't seem to find what I did wrong with making my spp from the notes I picked up in here. I have a 36"X 3" ss CCVM column. I went with the 1/10th of the column for the diameter of the packing(.300") and 150% X dia. or .450" for the length. I used .025" 3...

Hey Doc
when you go to reading, head to "crankys spoon fed" thread. (the red high lighted line in SS's signature block)
its been around a long while but it puts you where you need to be

WAY WAY WAY WRONG!!!
that is chlorine treatment for a pool with tons of other bad materials in there
DO NOT USE THAT!
baking soda is what I think you need. regular arm&hammer baking soda
or maybe its baking powder, but at least either one is not poisonous like hypo is

Re: Can Propane Burner Damage A Tri-Clamp And A Solder Joing on the side??
Hi NIN I have several soldered on fitting on one of my kegs that are fine under gas heat. as long as the keg never goes dry the solder will not reach melting temps. The ptfe gaskets can take tons of heat, but make sure no open flame can reach up to the exposed side of the clamp and it'll be fine. I ...
