FWIW, I have the 22,000 watt version of this controller. Took a bit of messing with to get it functional, be glad to share my experience.

Re: Three questions that will provide guidance
Need some direction moving forward. I have extensive beer brewing and wine making experience with several regional awards. At the current state of my distilling research, I have three basic questions… First Question – recommendations regarding software. In the beer brewing and wine making world, th...

Re: Controller agitator contactor wiring?
well something was broken and is now fixed LOL. As far as a main shutoff, I thought there might be enough room on the din rail to add a contactor and use a panel mounted keyed switch to trigger it but looks like contactors rated high enough to perform here are too large physically.

Re: Controller input request
That's a nice looking enclosure. Looks like some serious power too, are those 100A breakers? What's that loose wire ? Power should come in on L1 L3 go out to the motor on T1 T3. Since the motor runs when you push in the armature that's correct. There's a coil (I think I see the connection behind th...

Controller agitator contactor wiring?
I purchased a unit through Oak Stills and this controller was included. I am looking for your input on a few things. I do have everything wired up and working with the exception of the contactor that should turn on the agitator. As you can see from the front of the panel, there is an on/off switch f...

Re: Odin's Easy Gin
Not much of a fan of typical store bought gin, but excited to try this out. For those US based, check out the pricing at the Webstaurant Store. Most of their advertised prices are even less than what I had been paying through my wholesale supplier. https://www.webstaurantstore.com/38519/bulk-spices....

Just ran my second generation UJSSM and decided too late that I should save some additional backset. Third gen will be ready to go in a few days, guess I'd better go get some empty containers!

Fermenter find, Rubbermaid alternative
Just passing on some info. While searching out the Rubbermaid Brute containers to be used for fermenting, i found these generic knock off's from a restaurant supply company. Have them in 20 and 32 gallon sizes, include bin, lid, and wheeled dolly for $40! http://cdnimg.webstaurantstore.com/images/pr...

I'm not an electrician, but I see lots of pics of controller builds that need to have those wires wrapped CLOCKWISE around the screws so that tightening the screw also adds wrapping force keeping them on tightly. Hope that 'splains it
