Re: Changing process after taste testing finished product
“Where’s the burn”? Is it in the mouth after the swallow? Is it in the chest as it goes down? Is it a “burn” or simply “a warmth”? If it’s in the mouth as you swallow, I would suspect it is from too much of the heads in your spirit. Tighter, more conservative cuts will help you reduce this problem....

Re: Rashing Rings Glass or Ceramic?
Assuming they're the same shape, I would say there's no appreciable difference other than price. Borosilicate rings are insanely high priced compared to the ceramic. I gotcha, thanks as that's the most important part, the cost. Mine are through the roof latley which has me rethinking things and a s...

South Mississippi Moonshine operation busted
They said this is the largest bust in 8 years. 80 gallons of hooch was seized. They claim it was a 6 barrel operation but they must be talking about mash barrels as all I see is a poorly crafted 40 gallon stainless pot and worm.

Re: Yeast Nutrients
Mostly I do grains and use zero nutrients, but boiled yeast by its self is just part of a nutrient recipe. On a sugar wash we are gonna need other things like magnesium , calcium etc, so the 5 bucks is going up.
