Your friend should be careful about buying too much canned goods and storing them too long. Years ago I worked for a grocer in North Queensland, tropical weather, hot and very humid. I know they shouldn't have been there but some of the cans on his shelves were so rusted they were lucky to hold tog...

My Christmas present to me was a new carbine. Specifically a brand new model 1927 A1 Thompson complete with a 50 rd drum and a 30 rd stick. Spent a little extra and had it come in a violin case. Damn is it fun to shoot. Accurate enough at 50 yds to put 5 rds in a single torn hole. Have to spend a lo...

Picked up a war issued M1 Garand and absolutely love it. Just had them build me a 27A1 Thompson that is so fantastic to shoot you never want to quit. Then suddenly you out of 45 ball. Now looking for a war issued M1 carbine...tough to find. Our outdoor range is a hour away but 10 min from that is a ...

I reckon being a reality tv show actor pays a whole lot better than being a "moonshiner". I never met a real shiner that didnt have another job. Most of the ones I knew back in the day, were farmers, raising tobacco, corn, etc... Farming didnt pay all the bills so that's why these guys made and sol...

They apparently also have someone lurking here, as Ive nited a couple of occasions where we get discussing something unusual and it shows up in a later season episode. Also seen where we would criticize something stupid and it disappears fro...

Made friends with a meadery and a brewery. They aren’t allowed to reuse bottles by law. Convinced ‘em that me recycling em was better’n busting ‘em up. Picked up plenty of wine bottles and over 100, 500ml clear bottles for mead and makings.

Very nice sounding recipe. What’s the main flavor that comes thru? Do you use a pectic acid to aid in the fruit breakdown?

Threw in two pistol cases, free (they wa...
