To each there own..

Ok y’all... I’m running a keg with tower, I’m wanting to convert from propane to heating element for certain reasons. What type of element and controller do y’all recommend for this.. I’m looking for Safety as well as reliability but again I am just running a keg setup! Thanks for all input!

Ok folks, Rick the owner is a great guy......... Has yet to have a mason jar fail as you know, they ARE made to be heated up (Canning). Not to mention they are tried and true at getting the highest proof possible out of the first run and not needing to do a stripping run because of the 4+ thump kegs...

yea man forsure! I would say you either ran to hot causing it to puke over or it was just over full....... but if you cant make a mash that includes the fruits usually the thumper is always the way to go!! also try going to the store and getting those frozen juice things and thaw that and add to you...
