Just use a stainless toe nipple and 56% silver brazing wire. A simple connection to make, no worries about toxicity. Then screw on a ball vale and you're good to go. :D

Try to get too much out f a fermentation and it never goes well.

Harris Stay-Silv white works well for small section parts. If you need to apply heat for an extended period such as brazing a toe nipple or a half coupling to a keg there is a black formulation that is used for extended heating. The white burns off pretty quick but the black can take 20 to 30 minute...

A week has passed since the "Big Run" (100L batch) A small change was made from my previous post in that I added 1.5 times the rye as wheat germ. The rye I think adds a really distinctive flavor and is much better at this level. All else was done the same, airing, distress aging etc... Ver...

Tried this with a couple of variations. First time was the addition of a bit of lemon juice to aid in inversion and used dark brown sugar. Finished up in 7 days. Another possibility is to cross crimp the inner tube. I use a pair of vise grips so the crimp is consistent and crimp about every 3" rotating 90 degrees between crimps. Turbulates the water and vapor flow at the same time and costs nothing.
