I think you are misunderstanding the process. You want to distill at least twice, see below for a suggestion. Ferment enough wash to fill your stills boiler three or four times. Use the still to 'strip' all the wash you fermented, saving all the distillate (low wines) together, discarding the spent...

That's it. But for future reference, it is more productive to have more than one stripping run worth of low wines for the spirit run. My first fermenter held enough wash for four stripping runs and is still my most used fermenter over thirty years later. thanks Chris but my pot still is small im af...

I'm not going to answer your question either. I'm going to ask one. If you have just stripped it out of the wash, why would anybody want to put it back in? It puts you back where you started. I suggest you do some serious homework before you continue. Most of us here wouldn't consider doing a 'sing...

hello, sorry if this has been asked before. so after i do a fast striping run, should i toss the left over mash/wash or keep it and mix it with what i got from the striping run and do a spirit run? i only do single runs "sugar shin", i never done a spirit run before i have a 6 gallon basic...
