Excellent idea... it would give a more delicate taste... I know the method but I used it to make "coutreau"... it could be the same liqueur more or less...

Re: Whiskey or bourbon liqueur

Thanks for your contribution guys. My idea is: water, cane sugar, whisky, neutral alcohol (minimum quantity to bring the ABV target) and a pinch of cinnamon and cocoa. I like the idea of a touch of orange... I was thinking of orange peels macerated in alcohol which is used to correct the alcohol ...

Re: Facebook distilling groups

I think one of the terrible things about social media is that people don't want to find information and do more in-depth research. They simply want everything right away and follow what other people say without a modicum of curiosity.

Re: Some advice on liquid malt extract whisky recipe?

You could enter the data into a software or app to calculate everything automatically...they usually have a list of ingredients....enter a malt extract similar to yours.

Re: Angel Yeast Question

Let me start by saying that I prefer a classic mash with malt...if I have to use that product I generally consider the OG as if I were using malt...not accurate I know but simple.

This happens when the grain on the surface are not mixed. Be sure to soak the grains on the surface at least once a day in the future.

Re: Old wine - brandy or spirit?

I recommend creating a brandy, often an excellent brandy is made from a bad wine. If you don't like it, you dilute it and distill it again to a neutral.

Re: Controller fan

Connect the fan respecting the polarity (in DC it is important)... generally black wire (-) and red wire (+). Sometimes...
