I live in canada and I have noticed my local home brew store now sells still sperit kits has the law changed. The Toronto home brew site also sells distilation kits now.

Thank you I did run an apply brandy I guess you could call it I did thow a the first really bad smells stuff away and then dubbed it just to be safe. I ended up with about 46% and its been aging on apply wood for about a week now. It is starting to smell good.

Valor still.
I know this might seem like a stupid question. But her it goes. I have a Valor 3gal potstill and I wanted to make sure that the first few Ounces Are still going to be the methonal. Can anyone help? Hey newbie here,
I want to build a still. I have a pot and 10 feet of 1/4" copper tubing with some cuplers. Thats leftover from an old project(unopened). Can I use this to make a still? Should I add a thermometer to it and if so whats the best placement?
