Xnerd, can i come help with the deer problem too?? in my state the deer are almost GONE in the state forest/gamelands.. i have a dozen or so that live close to my house, but that's like shootin yer pets, so i don't hunt here.. trips to montana, british columbia, ect really made me lose alot of inter...

if yer stillin you'll probably find that a alcoholmeter is much more usefull than a hydrometer, especially when it comes to diluting to a certain % for tasting/consuming..
what kinda still are you running anyway ?? sounds like you were running kinda fast..

thanks dndr, they have ginger tasting/flavored mixtures using vodka and neutrals, but i would think that ginger brany would be made the same sorta way as say a peach brandy, maybe i'm goofy ??
i can't seem to find any discussions about it ??

you could keep a couple of gallons to add to your next rum wash for a heavier flavored rum..
185 seems a little high to me, but i don't know what your rig is or how it works, or where your taking that reading..

are those copper supply lines soldered or brazed to the column ??
if not ya might wanna slip a piece of insulation between the two..
that will keep your vapor stable no matter what you do with your coolant flow....
