Re: CCST gas line contamination?
The conversations about CSST smearing were in the context of using the CSST in a liebig condenser, and condensing the vapor inside the CSST which would possibly smear even perfectly vertical. I have corrugated copper that has less pronounced ribbing than CSST and it can't be tilted more than 20* fr...

Re: CCST gas line contamination?
Dad300 has made PCs from CSST for years as have others and have had zero problems. I’m not sure where people are making up this whole “traps things” baloney but it’s nonsense and there’s zero hard evidence it does that at all Care to post some links to product condensers made with CCST. I've only s...

Re: Spicey gin
Hey! Try adding some rye to your mash bill, I think a lightly rye’d gin would be good, and wouldn’t hinder the other flavors. Quite the opposite actually, I presume it would enhance the juniper and floral flavors due to the “herby” spicyness of the rye.Other than that I think playing around with dif...

Re: General atmosphere of forum
There wasn't an internet as we know it today when I did my initial research into distilling, it was done in university libraries. Count yourself lucky that so much information is easily available when you started. I suggest that you quickly hone your skills for searching the forum, internet and arc...

Re: General atmosphere of forum
This seems like a good example of a misinterpreted reply taken personally. This doesn't bother me like that post a couple days ago did though. Bit my tongue for that one. To the mods re: censorship. I'm in your house, not mine. Please don't hesitate to remove anything I post that you do not want he...
