Re: Ted's Fast Fermenting Vodka
Thanks all. I really appreciate the reassurance. I always hose out after use (and dry) The strip started clear and was most of the way through. It got a little opalescent right at the end. After I finish the two all-grain ferments and strips that I have going, I will make a couple more FFV batches a...

Re: Ted's Fast Fermenting Vodka
Hi all.
I stripped a couple of FFV on the weekend.
I went fairly deep on one and the low wine is a little cloudy. The other strip was completely clear.
Still fairly new to this.
Do others see FFV low wines cloud like this? Is this normal for FFV?

Is a 6in (160mm) double coil enough for 2in CCVM
Hi All,
Is a 6in (160mm) double helix reflux coil enough knock down for a 2in CCVM?
I will be running a max 2400w (240v, 10A).
Many plans say about 8in
Thanks

I am new but want to learn
Hi All, I am new but want to learn.
I come from a small island south of Australia.
I am building a 2" CCVM and am having a ball!
So many things to learn just for the build, let alone how to use it well when done.
