My interest in distillation comes from wanting to make my own rum, so, after a couple of sugar washes and some corn flakes whiskey, today I did it - well sort of. Because I am located in Europe and we do not grow sugar cane here I ordered ...

Heh, have a bottle of the stuff on the shelf behind me - I'll probably never finish it. I'll definitely aim higher than that.

I already noticed that I am on the right track when I found that my simple sugar wash neutral tastes better than the stuff that I can buy in my small-town supermarket here. Also: 3 times CH visitor, wow. And riding the mountain passes is one of the bes...

Also, Absythe comes from here, which is on my list to try and make. Seems to be pretty advanced when it comes to the herbs though.

Hi y'all from a new distiller in Switzerland, Thanks to the posts of all the magnificent people on this forum I am posting this while sipping my first homemade Odins Easy Gin (no diy tonic yet) - base spirit was a kale wash, all distilled with my new homemade still. I am so happy how this turned out...
