I only make sugar stuff for the wife she likes to make her girly drinks with it I use my grains for my sipping whiskey and to age

So many barrels man that sucks

Some say ferment on grain and use a mop wringer after the ferment is done. That's what I'm doing now I have 50 pounds on 23 gallons and I will pump off the clear beer and squeeze the rest they say it's easier than getting all sticky trying to do it before the ferment

Well my 50 pounds on 23 gallon is at 104 temp this morning almost ready for yeast

I just mashed a 50 pound bag on 23 gallon wrapped in blankets for the night figure I'll pitch yeast in the morning or afternoon tomorrow.my new brew kettle. Makes mashing a little easier

Jimbos ag method on grain

Nice conversation guys very useful information about the way to properly run a shotgun condenser

I only use a ph buffer on my wineos wash cos it seems like it needs it never on my all grain mashes

New kettle and 50 pound crushed barley

I just got a 16 gallon brew kettle and a 50 pound bag of 2 row for another mash of single malt

So I've got a bag of wheat and some rye on the way I'm gonna mash using jimbos ag as a loose guideline and ferment off grain any one see an issue ? How long do you guys cook your wheat or can I just stick to the jimbos parameters... guess I should be on the search
