Help With Birdwatcher Suger Mash.
Hello, I mixed up a 5 gallon Batch of birdwatcher sugar mash, the recipe that I used called for 56 grams of regular baker’s yeast, I used (RED STAR Pasteur Champagne Yeast) one packet 5 grams, it said on the packet that it would do a 5 gallon batch. Do you think I will be ok with this? Or do I need ...

Re: little reflux still.
Every time I see one of these converted kegs I think the same thing. Just cut a copper plate to fit, and permanently fit that to the keg. Just bolt it on with a suitable gasket, using the hole in the centre of the plate for access. You then have a really easy copper vapour path to copper plate join...

It is not finished yet but I thought I would post some pictures of it, seeing as it is called a parrot I decided to add some color to it, seeing that all the p...

Re: Mini 2” Slant Plate Boka Reflux Still
Rad14701 yes I was looking at doing a taller column, but then it checked the cost of 2” copper pipe, not cheap, that is the reason for the 24” column, however you are 100 % right. Do you think I can get by with a 48” column? I’m posting a edited PDF of the drawing. I am going to make the changes to ...
