Re: The Ridge before the Camp Fire

Our worst nightmare. Forest fire. When the fire gets into the canopy, it can go a couple hundred feet in the air and send burning embers the better part of a mile. I was up there on the ridge for two major fires. This latest Camp Fire was just too fast. The winds were too strong. This looks like smo...

Re: The Ridge before the Camp Fire

All along the main part of Skyway, for about a mile I'd say, the city installed flag holders and would fly flags on July 4th, Memorial Day, etc.

GoFundMe for my parents who lost everything in the Camp Fire

Hiya, SCD was kind enough to post this in the thread many of you have read, but I'm going to post it to a wider audience. As many of you know, my parents lost everything in the camp fire in Paradise, CA. We've started a fundraiser for our family... sort of. Actually, we are raising money to buy Chri...

Fires in Paradise, CA

Well folks, my parents house burned to the ground yesterday. They barely made it out with their lives, some medicine, their dog and some clothes. That's how little warning they had for such a fast moving fire. Driving out of town they passed burning cars, fires on either side of the road, and explod...

Re: SSL Certificate expired

Should be renewed automagically. Maybe it didn't happen in a timely manner. I just ran the script to renew and it said "cert doesn't need to be renewed"

*shrug*

sorry for the hassle!

Re: Louisville bust..

Well guys, they went there with a warrant and found an illegal distilling operation. My question is, what's the warrant for? If it was for the still then that's one thing. I'm sure the setup can make 200 gallons a week, if you run it constantly, which we all know isn't really feasible. So I've run ...

Re: what has happened to NZ HD?

I don't frequent other sites. OK, not sure I've ever logged into them. Maybe aussiedistiller since they ran the name by me to get the OK, which of course I granted. I should log in and check that site out soon. Don't know the NZ site but I like the NZ distillers I've interacted with online. As for t...

To all of you who have donated: Thanks!

I have received three offers to buy this site in the last year. All of these folks want to take over the site and run ads. The offers haven't been lowball either! But I always tell them no, we don't want ads, and we are supported by our users!

Seems some of you will know what I'm talking about so, I was at a TSOL show. They are touring around the west, doing their first two releases in order.
