i had good result with 3 carboy 2 with heaters and one in the middle, all 3 wrapped together with thick towels even when room temp is about 17celcius . gets really cold here during winter :/ have to had that i was only doing wine from kits before, but for keeping temp its pretty much the same thing,...

i did try it but with no success putted 10g of bakers yeast with 3litre of water 1/2 cup of sugar 2 big spoon of tomato paste in a 1 gallon jug with a air pump for 12 hours then droped it into a sugar mash "bw" airlock started 3 hours later slow next morning still slow added more yeast... ...

thought about building a box then i thought about some aquarium heater i had, cuted the wire passed it trough a drilled hole in the airlock rubber, those have thermostat. you can get aquarium submersible heater cheap on ebay. cheap ones are a pain to adjust but once there set it keeps you mash at a ...
