I had some strawberry wine that I had to degas ive let it set for awile now checked it last night smell was gone but it is bitter as hell also has a hazy look to it.

Cmon guys somebody tell me something taste like a stawberry BC powder looks like it has a haze in it not clear AT ALL.Will anything take the biterness out like I said I had to degas it becouse of smell but it was fine till I went to rack.

Haven't got any answers either, just shared experience
same thing happened with an orange experiment ive done. I used bakers yeast for that tho, so i assumed it was either that or just the not so good oranges.

I put it on the wine foruom mabye someone there can suggest something stuff was tasty when put it in carboy.

Sounds oxidized. Did it look brown at all to you??

I know this is elementary, but you didnt rack the yeast lees over when you racked it did you? Cause you need to waste a bit to get a good product.

It dosent look brown its not a firey red kinda maroon.I racked from 6gal to 5gal so I dont thihik I got any lees has like a milky sediment in the bottom now.
