The Lady Or The Tiger? or, Schrödinger's Beer

Post by fizzix »

First Red Ale home beer bottle opening is this Saturday and I'll be camping, well away from the internet. So I'm posting this now out of sheer excitement.
Saturday will be two weeks from bottling, and 4 weeks from brewing.

Is it delicious? Or putrid? Maybe just an acquired palatibility?

Not even Schrödinger knows at this point...

Thanks, dieselduo. You too.
This Red was an extract kit to teach me the way.
I have an all-grain Ale fermenting for its 2nd week. Figured as a distiller, all-grain was the only respectable way to go next.

sounds like a helluva long way to carry a beer that might be disappointing..

but then i never was any good at letting bottles get fair conditioning before attacking them..

have a great time. we've been blessed with snowdrifts today so i'll be mad jealous (unless the road freezes over enough to get my board on the highway!)

We'll tip a good beer and some Cornflake in your honor, durty.

Well the beer came out tasting like vinegar. Acetobacter infection most likely.
Back to the drawing board. Sheeeeet
