Calling All Gin-gineers
Looking for some advice and a sanity check
I’m building a botanical bill for floral gin development.
The goal is to develop a baseline that different flowers can be added to.
Anybody have an opinion on the bill or the amount of flowers?
Any help would be appreciated

Those proportions on the chart are the same as I use for my botanicals. As for steps follow Odins Easy Gin or Stubby’s Gin for best results. Also on the botanicals don’t just pick all of the ones you have listed as you may not want all of them. What I do is google each one to find out what taste it releases to see if I really want those notes.

Thanks Bushman, Thats how I got to this point Google and runs of OEG. I’m just not convinced about bitter almonds, but think the flavors will mesh well.Bushman wrote: ↑Wed Jan 27, 2021 4:22 am Those proportions on the chart are the same as I use for my botanicals. Re: Gin Botanical Bill Help
Here are the recommendations I got at one of the sessions at the ADI National Conference.
Recommended proportions
x = Juniper berry
x/2 = coriander
x/10 = angelica cassia, cinnamon, licorice, bitter almond, grains of paradise
x/100 = bitter & sweet orange peel, lemon peel, ginger orris root, cardamon, nutmeg, savory, chamomile
