Lemoncello like recipe ?

Post by Jeffp60 »

I've searched everywhere, and can't find what i am looking for. Whitedog with frozen lemonade. Not skeeter pee. This guy called it lemondrop i think. Whole batch to cans of lemonade and bottle. Talk about panty dropper! Not even sure how to check abv. Count it all as water maybe.

Don't bother checking the abv; measure the result in panties.

ABV is "alcohol by volume".

That means, 1 liter of 100 proof (50%ABV) + 1 liter of water, lemonade, coffee, or whatever liquid you mix it with will give you 2 liters of 50 proof (25%ABV) of the mixture.

So, you measure the volumes and CALCULATE the mix's %ABV. Get it?

Yupp. Count it all as water. The volume of protein/solids in the pulp after removal of water is not significant.

No water removed. Toss in cans of frozen lemonade in distilled sugarhead.

Sounds pretty straight up to me but here’s another method to determine ABV if $3 per test is reasonable.

Good luck!
