Fore Shots on Spirit Run

I am preparing to make my first spirit run. I made a series of stripping runs of UJSSM wash in 19 l batches; I collected and discarded 200 ml of fore shots from each 19 l batch. My question: If you discarded fore-shots from each stripping runs, is it necessary to collect and discard the first distillate (will this be fore shots?) from the spirit run? If so, why?
