Just cracked open a new gal jug of my 50% SF/50% UJSSM Blend that was charred in a #4 char for 3 months, then aged on glass for 18 months. It has an aroma of dark toffee, wood embers, roasted beef and hints of citrus. The aroma gives way to notes of lemons, buttered biscuits, espresso and sea salt on the palate, and leads to a finish accented by touches of mint, fruit and cloves....... all that is Bullshit, but it pretty damn good. At 86 proof and not a hint of bite with a full, fairly complex favor and good mouth feel. This blend between SF and UJ has become my standard.

Re: 50% SF/50% UJSSM Blend
Hahaha! Nice description of the taste! I originally started adding a little corn to my SF because it didn't have much corn in it. Then I kept adding corn because I like the taste. Now its about half and half SF and corn. Its the most common thing I run now.
No, officer, I wasn't distilling alcohol! It was probably that guy!
