Lower Ph with Tang?

Post by Mikeinkaty »

If anyone has a jar of Tang at home, check the ingredients. Citric acid, plus lots of other stuff that yeast likes. Like to hear any comments.

I haven't seen a jar of that since the 70's, I didn't know they still made it.

An uncle of mine once ended up with about a 50lb sack of the stuff, through some sort of work connection. That must have been 35 years ago. I never asked if they consumed all of it.

I'd rather not have any hint of Tang in the final product.
