Am I using the Forum right?

Am I using the Forum right?
Is there a setting or some thing I am missing? View new posts, view unread posts, etc. are producing unexpected results. If I mark all posts as read, when I come back I look for unread posts, I get thousands of posts, same goes for new posts.
Re: Am I using the Forum right?
It works correctly for me. Are you selecting "veiw unanswered posts" ? Even if marked as "read", choosing "unanswered" will still return all posts that have no replies.

I click on "Board index" to refresh then "view new posts". Every post that has been responded to will be in order.

Or choose active posts.
Re: Am I using the Forum right?
As Bushman said, "Active Posts". Its a great way to keep up with activity.
Or the ever popular, "HD Google Search", best way to dig for knowledge.

Just trying to understand how stuff works mechanically.
Looks like I will just have to use the google search rather than the site search as well. Just trying to get my eyes to bleed a little less.

badflash~
Yeah use the HD Google Search rather than the other.
In case you need help with it:
Re: Am I using the Forum right?
Is there a way to get google to find an exact phrase? Maybe single or double quote?
Re: Am I using the Forum right?
The best search I have found is using the example fizzix gives above. There are programs that do sentence searches used by professors when they think students are plagiarizing documents that might work for you.
