Give this a read, if you haven't already. It's from our Parent site, written by Mike Nixon...It gives an explanation about "latent Heat of Vaporization"

However I don't think I can dodge the bullet on this...Shi# Shi# Shi#! I'm going to have to write this up and start a new tread...

I did start to notice a small sheen starting right before I cranked the heat up to finish out the run. But the smells that you guys mention is very distinct (can't miss them) when making cuts.

Thanks for feedback, can't wait till next mash is finished so that i can start another run

going to start another mash barrel this weekend so that i will always have mash to run....

I'd certainly like to have a discussion, But you have to be aware that being from the old country" we spell it "Vapour - isation"

Is that the same as...you say tomato and I say tomato?
