So processed my first consumable batch, using inverted sugars and turbo yeast on my T500. Wash fermented dry to 990, and an ABV14.44%
Final yeld was about 3L at 90% ABV, the smell is divine. The wash had a slightly sour aftertast, and no character. The neutral spirit odour, is something akin to pudding or cookie dough.
It's now airing off volatiles, before I store it in a glass demijiohn!
Look forward to future batches, currently have some Teddysads FFV bubbling away, should be ready in a few days!
