Turbo 500 Temp chasing

Post by Okiedave »

New to Distilling I bought a Turbo 500 as a starter
Any help to better control the temp, I always seem to be chasing the temp at the water outlet. Using the needle valve connected to the kitchen faucet. All advice will be
appreciated.

Mine was all over the place too, until I got two 100 liter garbage cans and recirculate with a pump. Could just be your neighbours flushing their toilet causing a change in water pressure, not sure how you could make it more steady.

Lots of posts on this topic already if you search...
You have the regulator so use it. Cloths pin on the needle valve will make it easier to fine tune water flow.
