Look what i just picked up. Old water geyser built early 60's. Solid copper.
Had to drive 250km round trip to get it.

"Now what on earth can you possibly want to do with that piece of junk" my wife asks.

I now just need to cut it open and scrub of all the limestone. 57 years worth of it. Sorry, 56. Geyser came out last year oct.

Next i need to construct an alembic vapour chaimber.
As the spice shall flow on arakas, brandy will flow in my house.

"Embedding" the image isn't the proper method... Scroll down and use the Upload Attachment button... Images should be directly uploaded to the HD server, not linked from external hosting sites... There are several topics in the Forum Rules, Notifications and Helpful Hints forum that you should have already read that cover this... One is only a couple days old, at the top, posted by Tater...

Others with more detailed knowledge will advise you, but:
Presumably it was soldered. If it is that old there will be lead in the solder. So you will have to remove the solder.
