Thumper addition
I run a 15.5 gallon pot still and I'm in the making of adding a thumper. I resantly aquired a SS head for the thumper from Corene1 just need to add the 3/4" plumbing. I got a 2" by 12" column that I'm going to add a 90 degree elbow with a reducer down to 3/4". Gong to run the 3/4 into the thumper and 3/4" out to the condenser. I'll be running the same size thumper as the boiler.

Re: Thumper addition
Looks like it's a bit short to reach the bottom of the thumper?
You might have to sweat it off and add a longer tube to reach within 2" off the bottom of the thumper.
Also, while you're at it I'd make the crossover pipe 2" as well and reduce it at the intake of the thumper.
Good luck with the build!

Yeah guess I should of specified a little better. It's all just mocked together at the moment. There will be a pice of 3/4" that I will run to the bottom of the thumper. Then I'll add the 90 with the perforated tube attached.Shine0n wrote:Looks like it's a bit short to reach the bottom of the thumper?

I like your thought of going 2" all the way to the thumper. That's going to cost me a little more money but worth it in the long run.

I’m doing twin thumpers with 2” into 1”. Works great. 15 gal to 15 gal to 4 gal. Liebig to parrot.
