Just wondering how most people are running their thumpers. Spose it depends on what you're aiming for, but who knows, there might be some clear consensus.
Cheers.

Re: What's in your Thumper
You forgot wash, fruit, grain, pomace, heads, low wines, high wines ….
Re: What's in your Thumper
What NZChris said. And I use my thumper for a lot of purposes, so one time I fill it with grain, then with fruit pulp, then with water, then with low wines. So I can not fill in your form.

It varies... If running a Brandy I will shoot the thumper with fruits and puree...If running a strip UJSSM I will fill the thump (2nd boiler) with wash.
On a spirit run I will fill the boiler with something that will add character and flavors...Sometimes the wash, or maybe Cinnamon, Vanilla, botanicals for a hybrid "gin" Endless really... Use your imagination.
Have fun and be safe!
