A modified SS Reflux column

Post by pipe_cleanner »

I have a Still Spirits standard reflux column with a copper scourer stuffed up the base (the column alone pulls around 70%) added to this is a reflux extention tower, full of ceramic beads) pulling 90%, Running at around 74oC using around 500mls -700mls water a minute. Is there any simple ideas to start pulling higher than 90% out of this??

Is this a trick question as your web site shows several rigs stating that they produce product well over 90%?
Cheers,

Most of the others are my brewing mate and my partner in the web page, This is my only setup, it pulls up to 93% hot scalled down to 90% at 20oC. Dont misunderstand my intentions fella.
