A valved reflux to be exact converting one of my turkey fryers(kinda scared of using gas though)

Good luck. If gas makes you nervous, just use water heater element(s)

i use gas. it gives you far more precise control over temperatures, imho.

ARRG now I will just have to be patient and call all the plumbers weekly til I get a 3" x 6" copper pipe(If not I'll clean my old muffler, probably poison mysefl ROFL)

Okies if I am gonna build one I am making it my own.

I got the whole theory and whatnot down but to heck with the design I am goin to go crazy with Stainless it may become a huge disaster but I want to do it lol

Like THM says, you do need copper. Suggest strongly that you pack your SS column with copper mesh/scrubbers to satisfy this requirement.

You don't need 3" pipe, either. Just use 2" and make it a bit longer.
