Lee Valley Copper Mesh 100' Rolls - 3 inch Column?

I'm sure there are others here already using this so...
5" width x 100' length ($60CAD) and 25' lengths.
About how many feet do you need/use per 5" roll to pack your column?

1.5 boxes filled my 3" reflux. Its good stuff in my opinion.

Edit: for clarity I'm referring to 100' boxes; So roughly 150' total.
