Copper Pots

Post by leeb72 »

Just got back from a 4 day cruise to Ensanada Mex. I saw a road side vendor selling what looked like some very nice copper pots (the tour guide said they were not too much money?)but I was on a tour buss and couldn't stop. I will go back and see if I can find him the next time I go to San Diego. It is only 70-80 miles south of San Diego. Anyone that lives in SoCal should check on this. If he makes these nice pots I bet he could make a Still too.

Copper Pots

Another great buy from Mexico. Even a nice copper boiler with a weldable lid
would probably be an excellent idea and easy to build.

Unrelated to the subject, but while you are there; take throwaway luggage and buy a locally made leather set. Super value.

Thanks for the tip.

Border crossing guard: "Anything to declare?"

Leeb72: "No, only this 20 gallon copper Souvenir pot that I plan to build a still out of... WAIT,did I say that?" :D :D
I'd sooner have a bottle in front of me than a frontal labotomy.
