Think these are pure PTFE? the listing indicates they are.
Thinking of using these for lids on mason jars, maybe also for some gasket material.

PTFE Sheets?

I have a 50L pot still with dual Liebig condenser.
I typically make Whisky, grappa, and brandy.

Re: PTFE Sheets?
I use them for grilling veggies on the grill. They are too thin for a sealing gasket and are made by woven thread so would be too porous on a mason jar. IMO.

I'm thinking using them under the normal mason jar lid (reversed), with the ring loosely on, to promote some air exchange.

They are teflon coated eGlass.
I think they'd stand up to any jar sealing application in the short term, but being a spray-on product (like a fry pan), they won't last forever.
