Hi, a newbie distiller here....
So after many years of interest, I finally pulled the trigger.
There is so much info here it can get overwhelming. I have been spending a lot of time in the newbie sub forums soaking up the content.
I have a basic knowledge of distillation process, as I've done a lot of professional work in ethanol fuel production plants.
Last night, I ordered up the basic supplies that need. Also, I ended up ordering a T500. I figure it would get my foot in the door, with least amount newbie headaches.
I do plan on making my own still(s) in the future. My first project will most likely be making a parrot.
Could anyone recommend a easy recipe?
Thanks,
New guy from the midwest

Check out the Tried and True Recipes.
I can vouch for the Cornflake Whiskey, but you may want to put it on some toasted oak chips to give it some color and character.
