Hello there. Totally new to distilling and saw a still for sale in the local paper so bought it on a whim. I thought it was probably a good idea safety wise to go online and research what to do with it before diving in, which is how I found this place. I wish I'd found it sooner to be honest.
The amount of information on here is quite overwhelming but I have ascertained that my still isn't highly regarded here; it's a T500. I have a birdwatchers sugar wash fermenting so I'll probably run that through the still but ultimately I'm interested to find out if there's anyway I can improve it or add a new column to the boiler. It's early days though and my first run will be next week so I'll just keep reading here until then
