Hi there everyone.
I imported a 10 Gal copper alembic from Europe some time back. Have done quite a few runs of single malt and sugar washes. Currently fermenting my first corn batch. So far I'm very impressed with the results on my single malts. I have to thank homedistiller.org and all the members on the forum for their contributions.
I have been brewing beer for 13 years, own a licensed craft brewery that sells beer to the market, so I guess I have a bit of an advantage. Getting my hands on the ingredients is easier, and even half used kegs that can be emptied into the still is giving me good results.
So far the distilling is an awesome hobby, maybe I would like to move this into a small craft distillery sometime in the future, who knows. Hope to learn a lot from you, and not to ask too many stupid questions.
Cheers from deep dark Africa.
