The best and most frequent advice for new folks as they begin to fall in love with the hobby is.....Read! Then read some more. This forum has a wealth of knowledge, and most of the questions you will be coming up with in the first steps, and most of those beyond that, are all in these pages. Start in the New distillers reading area, and then find Cranky's fine spoonfeeding post. Follow all the links, and keep reading until it makes sense. Spending that time will prevent a lot of mis-steps later.
